Description
The Cisco QSFP-H40G-AOC10M transceiver module is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for short-distance, high-bandwidth data transmission within data centers. It provides a cost-effective solution compared to using separate optical transceivers and patch cables.
40GBASE-AOC QSFP+ to SFP+ breakout cable: This type of transceiver uses a single QSFP+ connector on one end and breaks out to four SFP+ connectors on the other end. This allows for a 40Gbps connection to be split into four individual 10Gbps connections.
40Gbps data rate: Supports transmission speeds of up to 40 Gigabit per second.
10 meters reach: This transceiver is designed for use in short-distance applications, with a maximum reach of 10 meters.
850nm wavelength: Utilizes an 850 nanometer wavelength, which is commonly used for multimode fiber optic cables.
QSFP+ connector: Uses a QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable) connector for easy installation and removal.
